 Innovation Day

The Center for Contemporary History and Policy offers historically grounded perspectives on issues related to the molecular sciences and technologies. The Center’s programmatic initiatives draw on diverse historical and contemporary source materials to provide knowledge, perspective, and advice to stakeholders from industry, academia, government, and citizen groups.

Areas of Study and Expertise

 > Climate and Energy
> Health and Medicine
> Environment
> Regulation
> Emerging Technologies

Our goal is to become a unique and essential node in the network of institutions and organizations that shape health, environment, risk, and innovation policy by producing socially and historically centered perspectives on these areas.

Conferences, Research, Oral Histories, Outreach, and More
The Center also hosts conferences and symposia; carries out independent research leading to white papers and peer-reviewed publications; conducts and collects oral histories of individuals significant to their scientific field, industry, or related policy; and assists international organizations in preparations for anniversary events. Follow our activities and discuss a range of issues with us on our blog, The Center.
